Send us a report and a person has it within 1 business day.
This page exists so a registrar, an abuse desk, an investigator or anybody who has found something can reach the right address with the right detail in under a minute. Every requirement below is quoted from our published Acceptable Use Policy.
Acknowledged by a person on business days, with a reference you can quote on everything that follows. That is the abuse desk's own commitment.
What are you reporting
Acknowledged
Within 1 business day

Four stages, and your reference arrives at the first one.
A person reads every report, and the same person owns it through to the outcome.
Stage 1
It reaches a person
A person acknowledges your report within 24 hours on business days and sends you a reference to quote on everything that follows.
Stage 2
We look at the thing itself
We reproduce what you sent us against the clause named on the desk, and we write down what we found.
Stage 3
We act, in proportion
Content removal, rate limiting, suspension or termination under clause 9.2 of the Terms. Clause 8.1 of the Acceptable Use Policy lists every action available to us, including referral to the anti abuse networks.
Stage 4
We close it with you
You are told what we found and what changed. Where you need account detail, lawful process is the route that gets it to you.
Every clause the desk uses is published and anchored.
Each kind of report is judged against a numbered clause in the Acceptable Use Policy, and each clause has its own anchor so you can open it, read it and quote it straight back to us.
Objectionable material is removed the moment we see it.
Reports of material that harms children or people at risk go ahead of the acknowledgement window and ahead of business hours. Send us the location on its own, leave the material where it is, and we take it from there.
Report it now- Removed on sight, at any hour of any day.
- Referred to the appropriate law enforcement and child protection authorities.
- Preserved for those authorities exactly as we found it.
What reporters ask us most.
- How quickly will I hear back?
- A person acknowledges your report within 24 hours on business days and sends you a reference to quote. Objectionable material goes ahead of that window and is acted on the moment we see it.
- Do I need an account to report something?
- Anybody can write to this desk. Send it from an address we can reply to and you get the reference and the outcome.
- Will you tell me what happened?
- Yes. You are told what we found and what changed. Customer identity and account detail come through lawful process, which is its own route on the desk above.
- I am a registrar or an investigator. Where do I write?
- Lawful process goes to legal@kapsulehost.com from a verifiable official address. Choose Lawful process on the desk above and it lists the five things that let us act on the first read.
- I found a security flaw in your platform. What now?
- Write to security@kapsulehost.com. We confirm receipt, work with you while it is fixed, and credit you when you would like us to. Good faith research that stays inside the Acceptable Use Policy is welcome here.
The policy behind all of this is one page.
Every clause the desk cites lives in the Acceptable Use Policy, indexed, searchable and anchored so you can link straight to the line you need.
