Your website keeps answering, day and night.
Premium DNS gives your website 2 addresses of its own, so your visitors always have another way in.
Visitors are sent to whichever address is answering.
Add it to a domain from your panel whenever you like.
One paid extra. The rest comes free.
Premium DNS is the only paid extra here, and everything else comes free with your domain.
DNS
Included free with every domain, on every plan
- Your website and your email, set from one screen
- Change it as often as you like
- Every change is checked before it goes live
- A change is done when every server agrees
- DNSSEC with one switch, free
What each one means
Change it as often as you like
Set up as many websites, spare names and mailboxes on your domain as you like, and change any of them the moment something moves.
Every change is checked before it goes live
We read each change as you save it and confirm it works, so what lands on your domain is something your visitors can use.
A change is done when every server agrees
The moment you save, we ask every one of our 4 servers for the new answer, and we tell you it is done once they have all given it.
Your visitors can be sure it is really you
Turn on DNSSEC with one switch, free, and every answer given for your domain can be proved to have come from you.
Premium DNS
Everything in DNS, and:
- 2 addresses of its own for your website
- You choose where each of those addresses points
- Visitors are sent to whichever address is answering, on its own
Add it to a domain from your panel whenever you like.
See where your domain points, right now.
Put in a domain you already own and we read it live, the same way every other computer on the internet reads it.
Your website
Tell your domain where your website lives and every visitor lands there. Move the site later and one change puts you back in front of them, as often as you like. Point a spare name at the same site as well, and everybody who types either one arrives in the right place.
Your email
Pick who handles your email from a list of 5 ready made choices, and every setting it needs is written for you in one go. Your new settings go in first and the old ones follow them out, so your mail keeps arriving all the way through the switch. We read it back afterwards and finish anything left over for you.
Free for anyone to use, and we read the answer live from the internet itself the moment you ask.
What DNS does for you.
Think of DNS as the internet's address book. It turns your name into the exact place their browser and their email need to go.
It takes visitors to your website
Somebody types your name into a browser and DNS points them at the machine your website lives on, in a fraction of a second.
It takes email to your inbox
Somebody writes to you and DNS tells their email which inbox the message belongs in.
It follows you when you move
Change the address in your panel and the rest of the internet catches up within 1 hour, so your visitors and your mail arrive at the new place.
What people ask about DNS.
Six things people ask before they set up DNS, answered in full.
