Installing WordPress on your site

One-click WordPress setup in KPanel, plus WooCommerce and plugins.

Installing WordPress

From the Sites panel

Go to Sites in KPanel
Click your site name to open its settings
Click Install WordPress
Set your admin username, password, and site title
Click Install. WordPress is live in about 60 seconds

Accessing your WordPress dashboard

Go to yourdomain.com/wp-admin and log in with the admin credentials you set.

Or from KPanel: Sites → your site → Open WordPress dashboard

Installing WooCommerce

In your WordPress dashboard, go to Plugins → Add New
Search for WooCommerce and click Install Now
Activate, then run the WooCommerce setup wizard

We recommend running WooCommerce on Cloud Pro or higher. Cloud Start is good for development and testing but Pro gives you more resources for live stores.

PHP version

KPanel lets you set the PHP version per site. Go to Sites → your site → PHP version. We recommend PHP 8.2 for most WordPress sites.

Auto-updates

Go to Sites → your site → WordPress updates to enable automatic WordPress core, plugin, and theme updates. We take a snapshot before updating.
