Inbox, sent, drafts, every custom folder. We migrate using IMAP so the structure is preserved exactly.

Folders + labels

Gmail labels become folders. Outlook folders stay folders. Sub-folders nest the same way they did before.

Calendar + contacts

CalDAV + CardDAV exports during the migration window. Events keep their attendees + invites. Contacts keep their groups.

Filters + rules

Server-side filters from Gmail / Outlook recreated as Sieve rules at Kapsule. Auto-forwards keep working without re-setup.

Shared mailboxes

Shared inboxes migrate as their own mailbox + permission grants. Existing delegates keep their access.

Aliases + forwards

Every alias and forward rule comes across. We add the new mail server records so the alias keeps routing correctly.

Detect

You paste your domain. We auto-detect your current provider and the mailbox count. Estimated window: returned in seconds.

Connect

Pick your provider in the wizard. We walk you through generating an app password. Test the connection live; we encrypt the password at rest with AES-256 and wipe it once the run completes.

Watch it run

Provisions your new Kapsule mailboxes, then copies every folder + flag + date into them while you watch a per-mailbox progress monitor. Resumable on any network blip.

Flip MX, when you're ready

When the bulk copy is done, the monitor surfaces the exact MX record to put on your domain. You hit 'I've flipped MX' and we run a final delta sync to catch anything that arrived during cutover.
