Kapsule Care for WooCommerce
Kapsule Care WooCommerce is a managed care plan built around the one thing a store cannot afford to have broken: the order flow, tested after every update.
Who It Is For
A WooCommerce store is not a website with a shop bolted on. It is a payment system, a tax calculation, a shipping calculation and an inventory system, all made of plugins that update on their own schedules, any one of which can silently break checkout without taking the site down.
That is the specific problem this plan exists for. If your site takes money, this is the Care tier written for you.
Care WooCommerce is at Store, then Protection, then Care, or go straight to /care. It appears in the plan row alongside Care Basic and Care Pro.
What Is Included
| Inclusion | What it means |
|---|---|
| WooCommerce, payment plugin and theme updates | The whole store stack, not just WordPress core |
| 2 hours support per month | Real engineer time, rolls over month to month |
| Order flow and checkout testing after every update | A human confirms a customer can still buy |
| Performance tuning for product listings | The pages that carry your catalogue |
Plus the premium inclusion: a priority ticket queue with an 8-hour SLA.
The price is US$90.00/mo.

Checkout Testing After Every Update
This is the line that separates this plan from generic WordPress maintenance, and it is worth understanding what it means in practice.
A plugin update on a store can pass every automated check and still break the purchase. A payment gateway changes an API. A shipping plugin stops returning rates for one region. A tax rule silently stops applying. The site is up, the theme renders, monitoring is green, and no one can complete an order.
The only reliable test is to run the order flow. On this plan, that happens as part of the update cycle, not as a favour after you report a problem.
Checkout testing catches breakage introduced by an update we applied. It is not a continuous transaction monitor, and it cannot catch a failure introduced by a change made outside the update cycle: a payment provider disabling your account, an expired gateway credential, or a change you made yourself. Keep an eye on your own order volume as well.

Read simply: Care Pro is the broader plan, Care WooCommerce is the store-specific one. Pro buys more hours and more security depth. WooCommerce buys the checkout testing and the catalogue performance work that Pro does not list.
If your store is busy enough that you would want both, take Care Pro for the hours and monitoring, and use Pro Services for the store-specific work as a scoped engagement. A WooCommerce Setup engagement covers theme config, payment gateways, shipping, tax rules and verified test orders as a one-off.
Support Hours on a Store
Two hours a month is not a lot of raw time, and it is not meant to be a development budget. It is maintenance time: applying updates, running the order flow, fixing what the update broke, tuning a slow listing page.
Hours roll over month to month, which matters more for a store than for a brochure site. Your quiet months bank the time you will need in the week before a seasonal peak.
Your Care dashboard shows the meter: hours used, hours included, hours remaining, and an over-usage figure if you cross the line rather than a silent cut-off.
Work Cycles on a Live Store
Every batch of update work moves through Queued, Staged, Tested and Deployed, with each stage stamped as it completes. On a store, the Tested stage is where the order flow check happens, before anything reaches your live checkout.
If a problem shows up, the cycle is marked Rolled back with the note that we caught an issue and restored the previous state. You see that in the log rather than discovering it from a customer.
Monthly Reports
You get the same published monthly report as every Care plan: uptime, incidents, plugins updated, themes updated, security status and SSL status, with an overall pill of All good, Minor issues or Needs attention, plus a security note where the team acted on something.

What It Does Not Cover
Being clear about the edges saves a disappointing month:
- Building the store. A new store build, gateway configuration from scratch, or a migration is Pro Services work.
- Custom development. A plugin written to your brief is a scoped Pro Services engagement.
- Your payment provider's decisions. Account holds, payout delays and gateway policy sit with the provider.
- Content and merchandising. Product copy, photography and pricing stay yours, though Kapsule Agents can draft product descriptions for you.
